Starting the morning right

Being in tune with your body and starting the day off right is a very important part of  being productive and happy. Or course there are many factors that play into this, and we can discuss all of those in the near future. Today I want to briefly talk about eating apples…
I start every morning of my life with an apple (my favorite is granny smith, because they are the most reliable when it comes to being crispy and fresh). Studies have been done to prove the the enzymes in apples, along with the process of eating them will actually wake you up better then caffeine. … I know crazy. Don’t tell my two business partners that :)
Also, if you take the whole raw foods diet angle, you can consider the fact that your body digests raw fruits and vegetables better. So by starting of the morning with an apple you are allowing your body to adjust to digesting food.

Apples in traditional medicines were called the body’s broom. This concept of apples as a cleansing food is now supported by our emerging understanding of fiber, antioxidants and fruit flavoniods. Some of the health benefits of apples are as follow: EATING APPLES

Try it out….it is a little (but important) part of staying focused and happy while I work on DVLP.

Hi, I’m Perfect.

It’s time to admit publicly that we have a major sweet tooth. Sugar calls to us from store aisles like a lover we can’t deny, particularly chocolate–dark chocolate. It was our insatiable appetite for the dark cocao combined with our adventurous spirit that lead to the discovery of Vosges’ Dark Chocolate Bacon Bar.

Okay, we know it sounds weird and, honestly, that’s why we haven’t told you about our year long love affair. People judge. But think about it. It’s common knowledge that bacon makes everything better and there’s no reason why chocolate should be left out of that equation. Vosges’ deftly combines the bitter sweetness of dark chocolate with the salty, caramelized goodness of bacon into what could possibly be the mecca of chocolate bars.

The bacon bars are shockingly difficult to find in stores (and we mean shockingly because they should be stocked next to Snickers). They can sometimes be found in specialty gourmet shops and thankfully Vosges sells them online which is good because it makes buying them in bulk less socially awkward.
