Skiers and snowboarders will shred downtown Denver this January 25th-26th on one of the biggest man-made ramps ever constructed. The FIS World Cup Snowboard Big Air will hit the USA first where this event will consist of a ramp 101 feet tall, 300 feet long, and 80 feet wide. Placed right outside the Civic Center, Big Air will precede the SIA exhibition and X-games which will be held in Denver and Aspen. Get ready for the craziest Action Sports event Denver has seen.
It is official, the 2010 World Snowboard Day is set to launch on December 19, announced by Eurosima and the World Snowboard Federation. With only a few months to go, this fifth annual event involving over 40 countries all over the world is prepping for this year to be even bigger than the last.
The concept of this event is clear-cut; give everyone the opportunity to try out the rad sport of snowboarding. During one day, free activities are provided by shops, resorts, and even riders to everyone while they are also exposed to contests, signings, concerts and more.

Park City is now offering customizable passes for the upcoming 2010-2011 shred season. It is being called “My Pass. My Way.” This provides each pass holder with the ability to build their season passes the way they see fit, in order to get the biggest bang for their buck.
Passes include amenities such as fast tracks with possible night skiing, and underground parking for day… or night… or both! An array of options grants snowboard/ski fanatics the capability to choose a pass “their way.”
When will Colorado Resorts be picking up on this sweet deal? Let’s hope soon, who doesn’t want their very own customized season pass!
